Teeth Kicker by Glenn Orgias

Teeth Kicker by Glenn Orgias

Pay your debts. Protect your family. Never cross a loan shark.

This blisteringly original crime thriller and exciting debut smashes Mr InbetweenMonkey Grip and Animal Kingdom into a gutter opera on the vicious, bent and drug-laden streets of Newcastle – written by the Pushcart nominated writer and 2009 shark attack survivor

Vincent Silk is back in the decaying maw of Australia’s Steel City after losing everything – his money, his self-respect and his friends and family. He wants to make amends but first he has to pay back an unhinged loan shark. With no way to make good, Vincent is forced to take on a brutal new role: working as an enforcer, a teeth kicker, collecting debts in a town where everyone owes someone something.

Headshot: Glenn Orgias

Glenn Orgias

Glenn Orgias is an energy trader, writer, and surfer based in Sydney. In 2009, while surfing at Bondi Beach, he survived an unfortunate encounter with a Great White shark that resulted in the loss of his left arm. His memoir Man in a Grey Suit, published by Penguin in 2012, recounts the aftermath of that attack.

Glenn’s debut crime novel, Teeth Kicker (HarperCollins, 2026) is a dark and blistering thriller that has received high praise.

When he’s not working or writing, Glenn can be found out the back in the surf or spending time with his wife, and two daughters. More of his writing can be found at www.glennorgias.com.
