Turn your journey into a spirited piece of writing that delights and inspires anyone who reads it.
Ever kept a travel journal and harboured a desire to do something with it? Ever read a travel memoir and thought: “My adventures were more interesting than that?” Or are you about to travel and considering turning your journey into a piece of writing? If you have ever wanted to write about your travels then join Walter Mason for a full-day Travel Writing with Spirit workshop.
This workshop aims to help people think more deeply about their travel experiences and to look for how to record the significance in relationships, adventures and personal changes that happen while travelling. Participants can use the techniques they learn to blog, write short travel pieces or even create a full-scale travel memoir.
- A renewed enthusiasm for recording travel experiences and sharing them with the world in ways that are entertaining and enlightening
- A more careful eye when it comes to recording the detail and emotion of the travel experience
- Encouragement to explore new forms of writing and publishing options to build an audience
- A framework for creating your own intimate travel memoir
