In this full day workshop Graham Davidson with take you through the process of how to be your own publisher using the print on demand services offered by IngramSpark and Amazon.
He will demonstrate how to properly format your Word document to ensure a smooth journey through the typesetting in InDesign. He will work through what you need to know in InDesign to format everything from novels to poetry anthologies, picture books or even cookbooks.
The final part of the day will focus on navigating the IngramSpark and KDP platforms and when to look at organising an offset print run.

About the Presenter
A professional creative for over 45 years, Graham Davidson has expertise in a broad range of fields including copy writing, illustration, and book design. He brings to this workshop his extensive experience working with InDesign and publishing through his Rack and Rune Publishing company and his many years servicing the advertising industry.
In addition to having illustrated picture books, self-help books and technical books, he has written several middle grade and YA novels and had his short stories published in anthologies in Australia and New Zealand. In 2020, he established the IF Maitland Indie Writers Festival which then led him to start his Rack and Rune Publishing business which specialises in helping to establish writers as their own publisher. He has taught animation and drawing both privately and at TAFE and also trains industry professional in the use of high-end VFX software.
