Event Details
About: Join us for a conversation with literary agent Jane Novak to talk all things publishing, in particular:
What do literary agents really look for in a pitch? How do you approach them and what should you avoid?
If you’ve ever wondered about pathways toward publication, this conversation is for you.
Join literary agent Jane Novak in conversation with Katherine McLean, Director of Hunter Writers’ Centre for a candid discussion about pitching, publishing, and finding the right fit for your work. Jane will share insights from her 30 years in the industry including what makes a submission stand out, what turns agents off, and what to expect from the agent-writer relationship.
Whether you’re getting ready to submit a manuscript or just beginning to think about publication, this session offers a chance to ask real questions and get honest answers from someone who’s seen it all.
